Internet Connection
Experience to date and information received from the vendor (Blackboard, Inc) indicates that WebCT Vista performs best on a broadband connection. Those using dial-up connections may experience longer page load times and slower performance accessing their WebCT Vista course web sites. UBC's Information Technology staff strongly recommends a broadband internet connection (cable modem or DSL) for use with WebCT Vista.
